WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 3, 2025) — The North American Securities Administrators Association (“NASAA”) today announced important updates to the Electronic Filing Depository (“EFD”) and guidance for filings submitted on December 31, 2024.
NASAA is pleased to announce that EFD will be available for use by filers and regulators beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET on Monday, January 6, 2025. The updates to EFD include migration to the commercial cloud, a new system URL, and new system support. Users will find many of the features and functionality of the migrated EFD system to be virtually identical to the prior system.
Legacy EFD data up to and including December 30, 2024, was successfully migrated to the new hosting environment. However, filings and payments made on December 31, 2024, were not able to be timely processed and imported into the migrated system. NASAA staff has identified the affected filers and will be contacting them individually in the coming days to answer any questions. Anyone who submitted filings through EFD on December 31 are encouraged to resubmit those filings and related payments on January 6th.
As a reminder, EFD is now hosted on a new website at nasaaefd.org. EFD Support can now be reached at 1-800-378-5007 or support@nasaaefd.org. Support staff is available to assist users between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday (excluding national holidays). EFD users are also always welcome to contact NASAA with EFD-related questions at efd@nasaa.org.
